Here you’ll find original novels, novellas, short stories, historical love stories, treasured love letters, and remarkable true accounts of LGBTQ+ lives, each reflecting the enduring belief that love is one of life’s greatest gifts.
I created Still in Love because, after nearly three decades with my husband, Tray, I’ve come to understand that love between two men or two women is not an exception to the human experience. It is the human experience. We fall in love. We build homes together. We celebrate milestones, weather disappointments, care for one another through illness, argue over little things, dream about the future, and grow older side by side. Some of us raise children. Some of us do not. Like every couple, our lives are shaped by joy, sacrifice, laughter, compromise, heartbreak, and hope. Yet unlike many others, we have also lived with the reality that our relationships have too often been questioned, politicized, or denied the same recognition and dignity afforded to others.
Some stories are imagined. Others are drawn from history. All of them remind us that love endures.
These stories arrive at a time when LGBTQ+ lives are too often reduced to headlines, political debates, or stereotypes. While those realities cannot be ignored, they are not the whole of who we are. We also laugh, dream, grow older together, build families, care for one another, and create lives filled with ordinary moments that are, in truth, extraordinary. Still in Love exists to preserve those stories, celebrate those lives, and remind readers that LGBTQ+ love has always been worthy of respect, remembrance, and joy. Everything published here is created with one promise in mind: every story honors love, every journey is told with honesty and heart, and every page celebrates the enduring power of love.
