At this moment in our history, I believe the LGBTQ+ community needs more positive stories, hopeful role models, and reminders that our lives are defined by far more than the hostility so often directed toward us. We deserve stories that celebrate our love, honor our relationships, preserve our history, and show younger generations that a life filled with connection, dignity, and lasting love is possible.
The stories within Still in Love are uplifting and positive, showing the world that our love stories are no different from anyone else’s. We fall in love, build lives together, and care for one another. We share pain and loss, but we also share laughter, hope, and joy. Our relationships are not political talking points or cultural debates. They are deeply human stories, deserving of the same tenderness, respect, and celebration as every other love story.
For that reason, I am removing the paywall from Still in Love and making the publication free for everyone. I do not want the cost of a subscription to stand between someone and a story that might offer comfort, restore hope, or help them feel less alone.
Paid subscriptions will remain available, but they will be entirely optional. Those who choose to become paid subscribers will be supporting the time, research, writing, and care required to keep this publication growing. A paid subscription will become an act of support, not a price of admission.
To everyone who has already supported Still in Love financially, thank you. Your generosity helped create and sustain this home for heartfelt LGBTQ+ love stories. I hope you will continue supporting the publication if it feels right for you, but every reader will be equally welcome here.
Love should never be treated as a privilege reserved for those who can afford access to it. These stories belong to our community, and from this point forward, they will be available to everyone.
